This Children’s Hospital will be a world class facility that will deliver excellence in clinical services, teaching and research in an environment that is fully supportive of children and their families. The new hospital is part of a new Health Services Executive (HSE) initiative for the cohesive delivery of specialist healthcare for children in Ireland, providing primary/secondary care for the Greater Dublin Area and Tertiary care on a national basis. The Children’s Hospital is being developed on the basis of a single hospital two site arrangement, primarily located in the highly urban city centre site of the existing Mater Hospital with Ambulatory and Urgent Care Centre (A/UCC) located at Tallaght Hospital on the outskirts of the cit
