Slim BIM Charts

A slim BIM chart is a visual and numeric method for representing the level of BIM adoption and implementation, using only four variables;

• BIM adoption rate
• depth of implementation
• level of proficiency
• years using BIM

Three types of slim BIM charts are developed

• Diamond Chart: uses four variables.
• Triangle Chart: uses three variables except for BIM adoption rate.
• Ball Chart: uses two variables: BIM adoption rate and either one of depth of BIM implementation or level of proficiency.
